Mrs. Gracie Evans Patterson
The edifice known as Patterson Purvis Mortuary is dedicated to the memory of our beloved Gracie Patterson. She was the mother of Rosalind Patterson Nelson. Mrs. Patterson's dream was to see her daughter walk in her father's footsteps and establish Patterson Purvis. Her passing ignited a drive in our CEO. Her constant drive and will to carry out her mother's dream is the foundation of our funeral home.
Captain Frankie Nelson
The most sacred area in the funeral home is our chapel. The Captain Frankie Nelson Chapel is dedicated to the life & legacy of Captain Nelson. Captain Nelson is the late husband to Rosalind Patterson Nelson. His support and sacrifices help bring forth Patterson Purvis Mortuary. His legacy will continue to live on.
