On October 30, 1964, Gary West was born to his parents: Jennie V. West and Nathaniel West, Sr.

Gary was preceded in death by his three (3) sisters: Lizzie B. Coleman, Linda F. West Woodley, and Debra Ann West; (3) brothers: Ray Curtis West, Bobby Glenn West, and Nathaniel West, Jr.

Gary leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Rufus, Brittany Edwards, LeGary Edwards, Darius Bailey, LeQuinton Bailey; sisters:  Beverly Williams (Kalvin), Ronda  Davis of Mansfield, Louisiana, Fatima Gautier (Chris) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Avery West (twin) of Mansfield, Louisiana and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
