Henry Lee "Yogi" Anderson was born on November 18, 1944, as the second child of Marie and Leroy Anderson, Sr. in Mansfield, Louisiana.  He received his education at DeSoto Parish Training School which later became DeSoto High School where he had many friends.

Henry accepted Christ at an early age and was a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. John Murphy Jones.  He was a very loyal and faithful member.  He loved his church and members.

Henry Lee worked at various jobs and would tell you he was good at whatever he did.  He loved to play cards, dominos and watch football with his family and friends.  He also was a Dallas Cowboys #1 fan.  In his lifetime he never met a stranger.  Everybody loved "Yogi" and knew that he loved to talk.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Anderson; dad, Leroy Anderson, Sr.; brothers, Leroy Anderson, Jr. and Joseph Anderson.

Henry Lee leaves to celebrate his life:  5 brothers, Hewitt Anderson, H.L. Anderson (Clara Sue), T.W. Anderson, Harold Anderson, all of Mansfield, LA, J.T. Anderson of Dallas, TX; 2 sisters, Monnie Mae Adams (Leroy) of Dallas, Ruthie Myles of Shreveport, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
