Meeker Jayvan Fuller, affectionately known as "Deak," was born on December 25, 1972, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the late James and Barbara Fuller.

At an early age, Meeker united with Greater Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Leonard Jones. He was educated in the Caddo Parish School System and proudly graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1992.

Meeker was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. He was also a proud and faithful Dallas Cowboys football fan, a passion that remained a special part of who he was throughout his life.

Meeker remained devoted to his family until his health began to decline. On August 7, 2026, God, in His infinite wisdom, called Meeker from his earthly labor to eternal rest.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Barbara Fuller, and one brother, Andre Smith.

Meeker leaves to cherish his precious memories his brothers and sisters, James (Sophia) Lacour, Marco (Tracy) Fuller, Dunbeau (Vicky) Milhouse, Angela Milhouse, and Kendrea Fuller; his only daughter, Meekayla Fuller; his sons, Meeker Anderson, Jayvonta Anderson, and Kaylon Fuller; five grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
