Robertha "Be-Be" Green was known for her strength, hard work, love of family, and her beautiful smile. She passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on November 18, 1962, in Powhatan, LA, she was the daughter of Bobbie Jean Reed and Hezekiah Reed, Sr.; she was raised by her Aunt Lottie Green and Uncle Jodie Green. Robertha accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Powhatan, LA under the leadership of Rev. Versie Clark.
Robertha attended Natchitoches Parish School District and was a proud graduate of Allen High School Class of 1980. Robertha furthered her education and obtained her licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
She was preceded in death by her parents Bobbie Jean Reed, Hezekiah Reed, Sr., Lottie and Jodie Green, and her son, Quincy McCray Green.
Robertha leaves to cherish her memories: lifelong friend and father of her daughter, Ozie Author Jones, one daughter, Lashonda Renee' Green-Buron (John), one God-daughter, Iris Nicolette Hymes, one grandson, Daniel Malichi Buron, one God-sister, Tonica Sweet-Allen (Gilbert), one sister, Marlene Francis Davis (Roy), two brothers, Jerry Wayne Reed and Hezekiah Reed, Jr., two nephews, Aaron Jamal Davis and Brian Delane Green, four nieces, Latrice Michelle Davis, Dorothy Marie Davis, Zaymere Nicole Reed, and Brittany Nicole Webster (Donta), two
great nephews, Aiden Ray Skinner, and Riley Anstead, and a host of other relatives and friends.
