Tralana S. Clark Obituary

Tralana Sharee Clark was born on July 5, 1980, in Washington, D.C., to Christine Nelson Clark and Jimmy Lee Clark. She grew up in D.C. surrounded by close friends and attended Friendship Elementary School. From an early age, Tralana carried a spark and a real work ethic. Between the ages of 13 and 15, she worked at the airport, where she enjoyed meeting different celebrities, before later working at an ice cream shop.

In 1995, Tralana welcomed her eldest child, Enfiniti, beginning her journey as a devoted mother. She was known for cooking, dancing, and singing her way straight into people’s hearts. Whether sitting around watching TV with her family or gathering folks together, she brought life into every room. Tralana was truly honest and outspoken—a woman who spoke her mind plainly and stood on the truth. She was sharp and gifted at solving problems; if you brought a problem to her, she didn’t just see one answer—she could turn one way into a hundred ways to make things work. Even on days when she was hurting deep down inside, she made sure to put a smile on someone else’s face.

Tralana would not want her family and friends weighed down by heavy grief. Her pain is done, her suffering is finished, and she is at peace, met by loved ones at heaven’s gates. Her heart leaves behind a simple message: do not let your hearts stay broken. Remember her voice, her laughter, her good cooking, and the warmth she gave. When tears fall, remember the joy shared, keep holding each other up, keep loving one another, and carry that love forward every single day.
